Since the balloon is carried by the wind, we must have a retrieve vehicle. The BUHABS van and trailer form a large and heavy combination. Therefore it is BUHABS policy to approve all new drivers. The general requirements are as follows:

• Over 21 years of age
  

  The BUHABS Minibus and Trailer

• Preferably a clean driving licence
• An experienced and current driver
• Willing to attend a NFU Landowner liaison day at some stage
• Potential of obtaining a MiDAS Driver's Certificate
